Bamboo is a raw material that can be used for many products including bowls, dishes and trays. However, this type of product requires a special manufacturing process in which the bamboo is soaked in water for several weeks after harvest to prevent it from rotting. The plant is then dried and cut into small strips which are then laid around or in a mold and shaped with a hammer. Before polishing, the object is soaked in natural resin and finally varnished. These RIMBU cymbals are feather light and super resistant. The set includes three plates in different sizes.
