The legendary 782-Hadschlu from Louis de Poortere is re-edited in its flatweave, distressed version. Sometimes called 'The Notary Rug', our Hadschlu has the particularity that it blends into a classic notary study, as elegantly as in a slee, minimalist yuppie interior. It just adds that classy touch that says you know what you want.

Louis de Poortere brings new life to this old Hadschlu found in our archives and that our designers have treated with modern effects such as distressed areas.

ANTIQUARIAN is a natural, multi-colored carpet - Janissery 8712 from Louis De Poortere.

The Bakhtiari live in the mountainous part of Khuzistan and Isfahan provinces in Iran. The rug shows a floral diamond pattern in feather shaped frames.

The design was retrieved from the 'Muskabad archives' of Louis de Poortere and given the 'distressed treatment'.

While traditional at their heart, the Antiquarian Bakhtiari has been modernized by bright colours and a faded effect.
